So On thursday I got a brief glimpse of the Northern Hawk Owl in NH - I saw it just as I was arriving as it flew across the road and landed on a utility pole... I hung around for 3 hours but it wasn't until 4 hours that it was found again -- no photos but hey at least I saw it! Perhaps I will chase it down again soon.
I have a huge passion for Baseball, Birds, and Botany (actually anything that begins with B). I recently graduated with my M.S. in Plant Biology. I currently teach freshman biology labs and also work for a non-profit in New Hampshire.

I’m not saying you can’t be a conservationist without this feeling — it’s just harder for me to understand what we owe the ivory-billed woodpecker without it.” - Jonathan Rosen
